Planes, trains and automobiles (and firetrucks too!).

I celebrated my 4th birthday this weekend. Yay! I did all my favorite things...

Had a  great spaghetti dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory in Fullerton. I just love slurping noodles. Before and after dinner, we got to hang out next door at the train station. I got to see a bunch of trains, both commuter and cargo ones. Just call me a foamer, or railbuff, if you will.

Then early on Saturday morning, we took a long drive to El Segundo where I got a quick haircut at my favorite spot, Snip-Its. I can't say enough about them, they are the best I tell you! They opened up shop early just for me!

Then the celebration started.

We drove to the other side of LAX to In-N-Out, where all the aviation enthusiasts congregate. We were right under the flight path of inbound planes on runway 24R. It's a fabulous spot.

Then we drove to the LA Farmers Market, which you know by now, is my favorite spot. I got to ride the trolley twice (again) and as if the clouds parted and someone was looking down on me, there stood not one, but TWO huge hook-and-ladder fire trucks from the south central division.
The Captain and all the firefighters were so nice, letting me check out the inside. It was so huge with many buttons just aking to be pressed but it was all too overwhelming so I asked to get out. Unfortunately, we didn't have the camera--only Daddy's phone.
All in all, it was one of the best days EVER.
On Sunday, we chilled at home. Grandpa and Tia came over for lunch, fabulous toys in tow.

Check out my new bike Daddy got me. It's so fast, I fell over a few times while taking turns too fast.
Check out the gun show while you're at it...

So Ready for School!

Hello Everybody! I have been so busy that I've barely any time to blog. Let's catch up. Where did I leave off? Right...spring break! I had loads of fun with Mommy.

We spent some time with my friends baby Noah and Hailey. We had loads of fun. Can you tell from Noah's excitement?
I showed Hailey my ever expanding train track. Since you ask, it's a Tomica and I could sure use more track, especially the yellow risers ;) I'm hoping to build a 3 story track and Mommy is going to build a custom train table just for me.
I also got to visit Pretend City in Irvine again.
 The bridge was pretty cool.
But my favorite was the traffic light. I must have played with it for at least five minutes.
 I got wet from fishing.
But I did catch 5 fish and a lobster! What can I say? I got skills.
And then I got to march in the parade. Dope stuff, I'm telling ya!
We got to celebrate Daddy's birthday. Singing and blowing out candles are my specialty. I'm very good at it. Seriously. Good. Really Good.

Me and Daddy do our evening ride while the sun is out.
And I finally got to meet Uncle Ray from Hawaii. He's in CA all the time but we can never get our schedules to meet. He's a fun guy, I hope to see him again, sooner than later.
I also like to get pampered. It's really easy too...I just tell Mommy that I'm feeling sick and throw out a few coughs, she is at my beck and call in no time.
I try to carve out some time to blog but Facebook and Pinterest is all too consuming.
Like my peach tree? Unfortunately, the neighborhood opossum liked it too.  I don't blame him though, it was oh so sweet and tastey-way better than the stuff you get at the supermarket.
I did my song and dance on Lita's birthday. It was great. I'm thinking of charging admission next time.
And then summer school. I was a wreck! New school, new teachers and the BUS!
Yes, you heard me, I got to ride the school bus. It was an unpleasant first day...you know, the unknown and all. But the busdriver, Miss Martha made me comfortable almost immediately.
And in celebration, we went to my fav LA Farmers Market and I got to ride the trolley at the Grove.
 TWICE.
And to follow protocol, got my haircut in El Segundo followed by gelato next door. I'm a strawberry type of guy.
For Father's Day, we went to Allie and Matthew's house for a nice lunch.
This is what I made at school. I love you to pieces Daddy!
Oh and of course, I unearthed a toy inside Mommy's closet. It's called a labelmaker and it's so much fun. Well, until you run out of labels. These are just a few of my favorite words.
Then I got to spend some time with Allie, Matt, Diego and Lucas. I stayed with them for 6 whole days. Mommy and Daddy took a vacation while I was gone.
They got to see some cool stuff.
 and some not so cool.
And now I've got just one more week before school starts again and I can hardly contain my excitement. It's gonna be a great year!

Spring Break!

It's officially Spring Break. I'm so excited, no going to bed early for the next 2 weeks!!!
Here is how I'll be celebrating...

I'll be visiting one of my favorite places...Tom's Farms. Not  only will I be riding the train and merry-go-round, my new thing is THE DIGGER!!!

I hope to be adding to my train set. It's so rad and I love it. I play with it before I go to school and after I come home, after my nap, before dinner and before bed and also in between all those times.
I hope to be getting more tracks for Easter. (Hint Hint)

All aboard!

Mommy's been taking a lot of pictures of me...You'll see why when you scroll to the end.

We got to visit Corona-Norco schools carnival. It was scary at first with all the noise and all the big rides but I summed up the courage to get on a ride all by myself.
It's the first time ever on a ride without Mommy or Daddy so it was a momentous occasion.

Then we spent a day at our favorite LA Farmers Market. I especially like hanging out at the fountains.
I'm having such a good hair day. Too bad...

Woops! How did this picture get in here? It's from Mommy and Daddy's fav spot, Gumbo Pot.
 THEN...
I chopped off all my silky locks! Yup, I did! And I did such a great job, Mommy and Daddy were so proud of me. We went to Snip-Its in El Segundo and it was totally worth the drive. The owner Derek is such a nice guy and my new hairdresser Pam was awesome. I'm sold.
Happy Spring Break everyone!
Shaka bra!
