It's been over a month since the last post because summer has been a little dull around these parts. Thank goodness for Fall, its brought a lot more excitement...
Dad has been trying to keep me busy.

Then Mom was busy and away for Aunty Diana's wedding.

Thank goodness for Uncle Chris's birthday dinner.

You can't have a birthday party without goofy party favors!

Then we had our 2nd annual Yucaipa trip.
I got to squeeze in an extra WowWow while everyone got ready.

Cousin Chris and Brianna kept me company while everyone ate.

Then we went on a little hike.
For those not familiar, Oak Glen is a little town in Yucaipa famous for their apple orchards. Last year we found this place but sadly, the spring frost caused an early harvest so missed the whole darn thing. As you can see here, we made it this year!

Tons of apples ripe for picking!!!

But there are more than just apples...
Here we have some wild gooseberries. Mom didn't care too much for these.

And we were surrounded by all kinds of trees, even redwoods!

Ben and Andrew had to take a break.

And Dad pushed me the whole way!

Look at all those acorns!

And cattails! I've never seen them before so it was really cool to see them up close!

And there were blackberries EVERYHERE!
And pears too!

We were all getting tired but Allie was lucky enough to score a piggy back from her dad.

How would you like living in the center of that mountain?

After the hike, I went scoping out the goods.

Last year, Mom waited a good 45minutes but as you can see here, there was no line for BBQ!
So I let myself in.

Then we left Los Rios Ranch and headed for Snow Line for their famous donuts we missed last year.

We were welcomed by a huge chestnut tree.

OOOoooooo! Donutttttts! Man, were they good. We ate 2 dozen ouselves!

Then we were disappointed that the orchard didn't have any U-Pick apples. But they did have raspberries! Mom was a little frustrated with all the buzzing bees-even grabbing 2 of them by mistake as they sat and hid on some ripe fruit.

We got to enjoy the fruits of mom's labor, literally.

See how beautiful they are!

Not only are they pretty, they are the best respberries we've EVER eaten! Mom says they were totally worth it...bees and all.

But to offset the pure sugary fruit, I had to eat some salty nori.

Yes! More raspberries please!

It sure makes doing taxes a lot more fun!

Summer's officially over! Time for more Fall cleaning! I love to help around the house. My favorite chore by far is emptying a basket full of freshly washed and folded clothes.

And at the moment, I am attempting to drive my dumptruck into the fridge.

Good bye for now...
