Happy Birthday Tia Ima!

Last Saturday we celebrated my Tia's birthday.

The whole family came to celebrate. We helped to prepare for the big party.

Here I am helping with the balloon strings. (Note the large legs)

Dad BBQed 30 pounds of meat.

While I took a quick nap.

Here I am with my Tia Chelo.

Then, I played with my toys while Diego watched.

He looked bored so...

I decided to share my toy with him.

I sure had a lot of fun seeing all my auntys and uncles. Hope you had a great birthday Tia! I love you very much!

I'm now learning to sit up and crawl. I'm a little lazy so it's been a slow process.

Feel my frustration? (Note the large thighs)

I love tags.

Did I mention I love tags?

Here is my new quirk, back arching. So be careful when you carry me because I may fall out of your arms.

Hey! How'd this picture of my naked bum get here?!

I am also teething again. 2 more teeth up top!

This would explain the need to bite my swing chair...

And the pole...

And even my toes... (Note the muscular arms)

My Cachetes (cheeks)

Need I say more?

I think it's about time to lift up the gate.

On Saturday, we went to Cousin Matthew's birthday party.

I played horsey with Cousin Allie.
And Tio Memo and I chased Diego around.
And Tia Ima's funny faces made me laugh.

And I couldn't figure out why Diego kept barking at the fence.

And on Sunday, we celebrated Mother's Day at my house.

Papa played airplane with me.

And all my cousins took a picture for Lita's "grandkids" frame.

But I couldn't stop staring at Cousin Chris.

Then I spent some time with my Mommy.
And then I had a very cold popsicle for dessert.

Did I mention how cold it was?

The rest of the week was pretty chill.

I played with Dad.

Wanna see my chompers?

Little Man

I had so much fun spending all my time with my Dill but now, it's back to normal. Lita came home yesterday and just in time because I am now sick...again!

Last week, we got to spend some time with friends Jenn and Rudy and their gal, Pilar. She is a few weeks older than Dill. She probably weighs 15 pounds (compare to Dill at 23!) but it was obvious who the boss was. She wanted to use Dillon as a stepstool but he did what he does best-he just sat there.
They played nice and exchanged toys.

But I think Dillon wanted her hat more than her toys.

Pilar is already able to crawl everywhere, stand and walk with some assistance and boy can she get into trouble! I had the brake on the Bagaboo and she was able to use her brute strength and push it.

Dill still has some trouble sleeping. He tosses and turns (just like Dad) and hates blankets, no matter how cold it is. And we always have a pacifyer or two nearby. When he moves around, his arm searches for the pacifyer so sometimes he is able to put himself back to sleep.

Dillon likes to roll around like a ball until he hits...the couch.
And now he sits up and crosses his legs. He's my little man!

On Saturday, we went to friends Alyssa and Emalee's sports themed birthday party. Dad took Dillon on the jumper...well, at the entrance of the jumper, but Dill didn't know the difference.

Just thought I'd share some cute morning bedhead pics.
