It's Official!

It's been 730 days since my arrival and boy it's been quite jouney, but I've made it to celebrate the Big 2!
Let me show you what I've been up to...
I got a late start to some spring cleaning but I helped Mom clean the hall closet.
We're getting ready for my big bash. Liquid refreshments...check.
I put on my fancy outfit. So where is everyone?
Here's my pal Joshua and his Mommy Kali. Apparently, he LOVES raisins. Here's Aunty Jenny and Tannin. Here's the fun cake Mom made for my pool party. Daddy, wanna taste? All the sparkly lights are so cool!
I sure had a fun birthday party!
Got milk?
Like my milk goatee?

These balloons are fun to sit on!
Ooops! Did I do that? Sorry Mama!
My mom just can't resist bath time pictures!

MMMM, teriyaki nori. It's one of my favorite snacks!!!
On my actual birthday, I went to Ferrell's for a sundae lunch.
Everyone sang for me again and I got my own grown up sized sundae.
This was the damage I did.
This was Dad and Lita's sundae. I guess they liked it.
Yayyyy!!! That was a great lunch!!

Then I had another celebration at home. I had one of my favorites for dinner.
Tia Chelo got us another cake. It was fun to see the sparkly lights again.
Boy, it sure was fun while it lasted! Tomorrow it's back to reality.

Terrific Twos!

So I constantly overhear Mom and Dad's conversations about me, something about terrible twos...not sure what they mean cuz I am finding nothing terrible. In fact, call me an optomist but I think it's all terrific.
So what's wrong with staying in touch with friends and family and the operator? She's actually quite nice but I am never quick enough to say a single word before Mom snatches the phone from my ears.
I am also very handy around the house, always offering my services to clean here and there. Terrible? I think not!
Look at me! Always trying to get that perfect side part.

One night, I was running around and didn't realize how close I was to the wall until it punched me on the lip.
But Lita's kisses made them all better and I soon forgot all about it.
I love to play with Cousin Allie.
Ok Mom, enough with the pictures, your blocking Wubbzy time.

And I got another haircut. Now that, I do agree was TERRIBLE!!!
I was feeling terribly ill one day and got to lay around and watch tv. And we even got to visit the Wild Animal Park. It was terrific!
Mom says this picture reminds her of me...how I'm always looking out the window at home or at gym class. Siesta time for Mr. Lion.
Here I am having some snacks on the train ride.
I even got to sit on the other side with Dad.
Bye Mr. Giraffe! See you next year!

So I've been exploring one of Mom and Dad's passions...EATING! They have been really proud at my strange but diverse palette. I still love my miso soup with lots of tofu and green peas, but I recently got to try some pizza (with mushrooms, bell peppers, onions and pepperoni). It was so good, I requested it for lunch the next day. Some of my favorite meals are garlic bread with meat sauce. It actually came on a bowl of spaghetti but I'm not so fond of the noodle. I also recently ate a big bowl of fried yuka and carnitas. Boy was it Yumm-O! Wild salmon in quite tasty, too!
For dinner one night, Mom made some chicken nuggets, sweet potato fries and peas. Can you guess what I didn't like?
Let's just say I love my veggies!

Woo Hoo!! It's Wow Wow Wubbzy time!!!
I've also been practicing my climbing skills. I can now climb out of my crib even with the rails up!!!
Oh Mom! You caught me!
More climbing...
You may also agree with me that anything tastes better from an ice cold glass than from a plastic sippy cup.
GRRRR. I'm getting terrifically stronger every day, don't you think?
