Dillon the Destroyer

So here is a picture of my precious baby..I mean little man. He's 11 months tomorrow!!! He's been growing and growing and recently began a strict sleep schedule. He is now a happier, well rested and has regained his appetite and now eats more than ever! He is also getting into EVERYTHING!
Our barriers are no match for Dill's brute strength.
He is also still biting everything...including buttons!!
Hmmm. What could be on the other side of this wall?
Let's see if my truck can bulldoze over it. Yumm, can I have a sip of your iced coffee?
Me and my ride. Busted!
I like to hang on like Tarzan.
Weeee!!!!
Wanna see what I like to do to my truck?
I can't fit into my swing anymore but I still like to play with the owls.

I Heart Summer

Although summer officially started last month, we've been experiencing June Gloom. But now in July, the sun has finally made it's appearance. And it looks as though it's here to stay. And my cute crab swim shorts are now almost too small.
It seems cold and uncomfortable at first...
Then after the first dunk, it's nothing but fun!

Stay cool and hang loose!

My Daddy's Day!

I wanted to give my Daddy a special present so Mommy planned an entire day of pictures. It was a very long day...
Mommy took over a hundred pictures of me. I was so tired that I fell asleep on Mommy's bed while changing.
On Saturday, the whole family came over to my house for a special dinner.
Here I am with Dad and Papa.

And here's the finished product.

Las Vegas or Bust!

Last month, my cousin Donovan graduated from high school. Me, Daddy and Mommy went to his big party where I finally got to meet my other Grandma. She lives in Hawai'i and came all the way to Las Vegas just to see me.
We stayed at my Aunty Ann and Uncle Nick's house. There was a lot of preparation for the big celebration.
Here is my Grandma with her great grandson Lucas, who is my first cousin, once removed (yes, Mommy had to google it to see what exactly is our relation).
Me and Dad right before the chow down. There is something about Las Vegas water that does something to my hair. Or is it the dry weather that's causing all this static and making my hair poofy?
Me and my cousin Donovan.
The day we left, my cousin Leanne was able to stop by. She's Lucas's mommy.
Here I am with Grandma. She's not supposed to carry me because she broke her arms a few years ago but she just couldn't resist.

And now we are home sweet home. Mom is redecorating. Actually, she's getting rid of a lot of stuff because I like to climb, bite and play with EVERYTHING!
Is it me or are my pants getting tighter?
I even snuck in Mom's closet while she was trying to organize it.
And here I am breaking a sweat before bed.

Good Night!

We're Back!

We've been busy these past few weeks. And when I finally had a moment to update the blog, the laptop went crazy.

Where did we leave off...

Last month, Mommy and Daddy were fortunate to getaway from everyone (including me!). They spent a night at the Ballard Inn, in Los Olivos--Santa Barbara County to do a little wine tasting and they had a most fabulous dinner at the Ballard Inn and Restaurant. If you are ever in the area, they highly recommend dinner there.
While on their little getaway, I had a sleepover with Lita at Tia Ima and Tio Memo's house. I had so much fun there and can't wait to do it again.

I got my first real boo-boo while getting out of my stroller. It did hurt but I'm a big boy so I only cried for a little bit. But if you ask Lita, she may just have a different story...you know how she likes to exaggerate.
It may not look like much now but after 2 days, you can clearly see...
Tia Chelo came over and cooked a yummy dinner for Cousin Andrew's birthday. And no, he is not 2 years old. We just forgot to get candles and this is the only one we had. Happy Birthday Cousin!
Do you like the walking socks Mom bought me?

So now I get to stroll around everywhere without getting my white socks dirty.

My Dad runs so fast sround the house. It feels like I'm on a roller coaster.

I am Captain Adorable. If you couldn't tell, my bib is my cape.

I fight crime...I mean I like to eat spiders.

One weekend, we celebrated my Lita's birthday at Tia Ima and Tio Memo's house.

We made an awesome Shrimp Boil. We were supposed to eat outside but it was a little chilly for me so we relocated the party to the kitchen.

There was so much food. This was what was leftover.

And everyone was so excited because El Salvador won the soccer game against Mexico.

And I got to practice for my own birthday by digging in to Lita's cake.
And look at me...I am getting into so much trouble now!

Tune in to next week's blog on our Las Vegas trip where I got to meet my other Grandma!
